I'm starting to make a little bit of progress on the hat. Here is what it will look like when it's finished. I'm actually doing it in the same colorway since my mom's favorite color is blue. So far I'm up to where the legs end and the body begins, if that makes any sense.

Yesterday I ordered a little bit of yarn from elann. Just a few balls of organic cotton and linen/cotton blends for washcloths and 2 balls of emu superwash print for socks.
