This N That

So, did I order anything from the furry yarns sale, you ask? Well, duh! Buy one get one free, plus only $2.95 shipping, plus they take paypal. I didn't do too much damage, though. I just ordered one skein of sock yarn in sunflower and one skein of worsted wool in Aegean (to make a soaker, of course). Note that this is my first time ordering from them and I just happened to read about their sale on another blog. Always happy to be a yarn enabler, though.

Sewing. With DH around for the 3-day weekend I finally managed to finish the nursing nightgown I started about 2 weeks ago. I've found that nursing clothes are often ugly and always expensive. This isn't the sexiest thing going, but it's practical and the fabric makes me smile (I guess you can't really see it in the pic, but it has Hello Kitty and cherries)! The pattern is Butterick 6886.



Also, I've decided I want to make an apron for tie one on. This month's theme is pink lemonade and I'm still doing some planning in my head.

Knitting. Here's Henry modeling the latest wool soaker from this pattern



the yarn is Cascade 220. It's still a bit big, but that's fine cuz some of his cloth diapers are bulkier than others. This was a pretty nice pattern. The only other thing I'm working on at the moment--my sister's Regia socks. I even managed to make it to the Whistlestop for SnB on Sunday. Yay!
