The bad news is that tomorrow is Monday and that means that DH is going back to work. Ack! It's going to be rough. Right now he's taking the midnight and 3 am feedings which means I get to sleep. So much for that.
Henry is doing great. At his doctor appointment on Thursday he was up to 5lbs 1 oz! Monday the nurse will stop by and Thursday we have another dr appointment to check his weight.
I finished the yellow preemie sweater I was knitting, but I'm not really happy with it. The pattern wasn't very good quality (ok, it was free), plus I was in a hurry to finish it. Oh well, he'll grow out of it in no time. I'll post a pic as soon as I get it on him.
Oh my gosh! 5 lbs 1 oz! That's amazing. Isn't it something what loving care can do.
Hang in there Stephanie. You'll get -really- good at catnapping. A good friend gave me some excellent advice a long time ago. I think we all try to get "chores" done when babies are sleeping. My friend said to forget the chores and nap whenever the baby did. It saved my life and my sanity. (Or at least -most- of it.) LOL.
Sending you supportive vibes across the ocean.
I don't know you Stephanie, but I'm so happy for you and Henry! I'm glad he's home and doing well. I'm childless, so I can't offer any sage advice but I wanted to pass my deepest regards and thank you for sharing!
Stephanie...he is darling! It's always rough at first (well, don't ask me I didn't have kids) but what a darling he is.Post a Comment
