Finally, I finished these pjs for Henry. They were a PITA to make (and took me forever), but now I'm happy with the way they turned out. The fabric is that non-flammable sleepwear stuff (100% poly) from JoAnns and the pattern is New Look 6525. They look like they will be a bit big on him right now, but that was the plan. He is growing like a weed, especially in length! For valentines day, DH got me some chocolates and a JoAnns gift card. Does he know me or what? I might even go to JoAnns today. I'm thinking I should buy some fabric for ME instead of flannel for Henry's diapers! Yesterday I cut out my first skirt for sew? I knit! using some stash fabric, but I'd like to make several more (I'm using New Look 6565). I'm thinking I would like something in a pretty batik.
Comments:
Love the jammies! Was the pattern simple enough that it'd lend itself to charity crafting projects? I'm always looking for something to produce assembly-line style for the volunteer sewing group at my local hospital.
